If you like shopping you are at the right place in Kobe…
The area’s of Motomachi, Sannomiya, China town, and Harborland offers a lots of shops, restaurants, big department stores, and small café’s
In Motomachi there is the Daimaru Department store, that count 10 floors, including electricity , clothes, bags, perfume.
In China town you have lots of Asian store’s where u can go shopping for some nice prices!! Ever more cheaper are the 100yen stores, where you can almost find everything !!!
When you are looking for English books, or news papers, have a look at the Junkudo Bookstore, in Sannomiya shopping street, here you will find books, magazines, and newspapers in English.
Also there are some arcades under the JR lines that run from Sannomiya to Motomachi and Kobe stations, where you will find many cheap second hand stuff.Sanomiya Shopping Street
In harborland you will find Mosaic garden, a waterfront place where you can find lots of shops, café’s and some restaurants.
A bit farther out of Kobe there is the Port bazaar, that is 9 minutes walk from the Sanyo Tarumi Station, west of Kobe. Here you will find a waterfront place that is a look a like of a European town. Lots of shops, café’s restaurants, most nice in the evening when you walk next to the water and have a beautiful view of the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge ( the longest Suspension bridge of the world)

Snoopy Shop.
One of my shop recommendations in Kobe is the Snoopy store, which is located in Mosaic on the second floor. In this store you can buy your Snoopy stuff: from Snoopy bags, to Stuffed Snoopy's and Snoopy candy to Snoopy school stuff.
