Foreign houses in Kitano
In the Kitano district there are over 20 old foreigner houses that you can visit. The most famous of them is the Weathercock house which is build in 1909, other than this one are the "original Holland house, Rhine house, Uroko house, former Panama consulate, the Denmark house, and many others. You can visit most of these houses for a small amount of money, where you can buy souveniers, wear cultural costumes, and enjoy the foreign athmosphere in a Japanese city.
Kobe Kitano Museum
This building used to be the residence for the American Consular staff, but it now contains an art gallery, a shop, and a cafe.
Shin-kobe Ropeway
This ropeway will bring you to Nunobiki Herb garden, gives you a great view over the city's center, and you can see the Nunobiki falls from the ropeway.
Nunobiki Herb Garden
The gorgeous Herb garden where you can find over 200 kinds of herbs, and a great view over the city.
Nunobiki Fall
North of Kobe you can find the beautiful Nunobiki falls, Medaki, Meotodaki, Odaki, and Tsuzumigataki. Odaki is the most beautiful fall of them all, especially because of it height which is 43 m.
