Port Tower
With a height of 108m you can see the tower ,that was build in 1963, from a far distance away. On top of the tower is an observation deck of 360degrees where you can see Kobe City, Awaji Island and Osaka Bay.
Kobe Maritime Museum
The museum gives a good history information about the harbour's history, the sea, the port, and other things that are relative with the ocean.
The building with the shape of a sailboat looks beautiful in the area with the Kobe tower, especially at night with all the lights.
Kobe Earthquake Memorial Park
Kobe Port Earthquake Memorial Park is located on the east of the Kobe Maritime Museum. Its an area that was damage heavily with by the Great Hanshin Earthquake, and has been preserved in its damaged state as a memory of the earthquake.
There are also photos and movies from the days after the earthquake and its renovation.
Harborland
Kobe Harborland is an area with lots of attractions like cinema’s, an amusement park, restaurants and of course a lot of shops. Mosaic and cannel garden are the main parts of Harborland
The area is a popular place to relax, shop, and has a beautiful view of the area, and the skyline of the city.
Kawasaki Good Times World
Kawasaki Good Times World museum is showcasing Kawasaki's origins, their more than century-long history and products, it also illuminates their pioneering technologies — which encompass mastery of the land, sea and air — and demonstrates how they have made significant contributions to society.

Boat Cruises
Between Mosaic and Port tower, there lay various boats that you can take to have a look at kobe from the seaside. Most of them take about 30-60 minutes, and the prices varies from 900 yen up to 4000 yen.
Meriken park
Meriken park is a waterfront park, in port Kobe area. The park was destroyed in 1995 by the Great Hanshin Earthquake, but is now fully restored and has become a mayor attraction of the city for tourist, as well for the citizen self.
The park includes Kobe Port Tower, Kobe Maritime Museum, Hotel Okura Kobe and Kobe Meriken Park Oriental Hotel in the park area. Especially at night the view of the area is beautiful lighted.
The name of Meriken park comes from the word “America” but the Japanese understand it as “Meriken”.
